These terms govern your use of Spellframe. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

1. The service

Spellframe is an AI website builder. You describe a website in plain language and our system — powered by Anthropic's Claude models — generates, lets you refine, and lets you publish a website. Features and pricing may change over time.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Spellframe.

3. Sparks & credits

"Sparks" are the credits used to build and refine sites. New accounts receive a free allotment. Sparks have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are consumed as you use the service. Unused Sparks remain in your account while it is active; they may be forfeited if your account is closed or terminated for a violation of these terms.

4. Billing

Paid plans and Spark packs are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime; see our Refund & Cancellation Policy. We may change prices with reasonable notice; changes won't affect a billing period you've already paid for.

5. Your content & acceptable use

You own the content you upload and the sites you generate, and you're responsible for them. You agree not to use Spellframe to create or upload anything that is illegal, infringing, deceptive, malicious, hateful, adult/exploitative, or that violates others' rights. You won't misuse the service (e.g., attempt to break, overload, scrape, or resell it), and you'll comply with the usage policies of our AI provider.

6. Published sites

When you publish a site, you make it publicly accessible at a Spellframe URL. You're responsible for what you publish. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

7. Our intellectual property

Spellframe, its software, branding, and design are owned by us. These terms don't grant you rights to our name or marks. AI-generated output is provided to you for your use as described above.

8. Disclaimers

Spellframe is provided "as is." AI output can vary and may contain errors — review anything before you rely on or publish it. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Spellframe is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

10. Termination

You can stop using Spellframe and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; we'll update the date above and, for material changes, make reasonable efforts to notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
